Sky Pirates: Chapter 3
The crew fights their way through a vengeful Kraken as well as crew of hired killers to make their way to Dragonreach. Once the site of a powerful alliance of dragons and wizards, the city is now the only form of civilization, surrounded entirely on the eastern border by the Wastes, a result of the dark magical fallout of the devastating war between dragons and mad wizards. Once in the city, the crew goes low-profile and learns that Cyrinnius has indeed taken the city, with his corrupt Mageguards bullying the populace and bringing in new, formerly illegal Warforged to work some of the mines. After a tussle with local law enforcement, the crew are whisked undercover by the rebellious denizens of a brothel, then led via secret tunnel to a path that leads out of the city, past the Weeping Wall, and straight into an abandoned Necropolis that Cyrinnius disappeared into weeks ago. After suffering the depredations of wizards gone mad in the form of hideously altered monsters and diabolical traps, the crew learns that Cyrinnius actually seeks to raise the Dread Legion, an army of nigh-unstoppable undead constructs. The crew finally manages to locate Cyrinnius’ mentor, a savage red dracolich within the bowels of the mountain. After a narrow victory, the crew pursues Cyrinnius into the Wastes, discovering that he as well has become a lich. After a lengthy battle, the crew manages to banish the lich and claim the dracolich’s hoard for themselves. At the end of the chapter, the crew learns that the sixth kingdom, Sanshido, has actually declared open rebellion and secession from the Empire as a whole. The next mission for the crew is to travel to this land and learn the details of their rebellion, with hopes of building and supporting and army powerful enough to finally stand against Emperor Augustus.
Sky Pirates: Chapter 2
After some time, the crew gains a reputation and a healthy price on their heads. While chasing down an Imperial airship, both the crew and the Imperial airship are shot out of the sky by a mysterious purple blast of energy that renders most magical items inert. Through quick thinking and a little luck, the crew survives the crash and washes up on a mysterious island. The crew fights their way through various monsters to find a dried-up lizardfolk village devoid of males. After winning the trust of the tribe, the crew learns that the Empire has some sort of fortress protecting a secret mine, and their dam has dried up the tribe’s marshland. The Imperials seem to have taken control of another tribe, this one comprised of Large bipedal felines. The crew presses on, coming into a a flooded and dying forest. The other tribe confronts them, convinced that the lizardfolk are in collusion with the Empire and that the crew are spies. Diplomacy wins the day, and the crew manages to ally with both tribes before performing recon on the fortress. Within the reservoir rests some sort of dragon, seemingly allied with the Imperials. Through excellent group attack tactics, the crew manages to slay the dragon, drive off the Imperials, and free the male members of both tribes from the mine. Upon furthur investigation, the crew battles a powerful wizard and his minions, managing to defeat them. The crew learns that Cyrinnius is somehow still alive, and is apparently working behind the scenes to grow a secret power base. The mine itself is a source of dragonshards.
Sky Pirates: Chapter 1
In the first leg of the adventure, the Nine Kingdoms are briefly touched on as being thousands of miles west of Khorvaire and the rest of the canon Eberron world. This adventure takes place in Octavia, the Eighth Kingdom, primarily dominated by water. These Nine Kingdoms are part of a larger Empire, ruled over by Augustus, the Iron Emperor. Beneath the Emperor are his Lords Cardinal, followed by particular rulers of given kingdoms. The primary differences are that the Nine Kingdoms worship the 3.5 D&D deities, and there are few if any references to the daelker. The PC’s are a group of pirates who’ve been captured on a small island. Lord Cardinal Cyrinnius the Archmage has been named the new governor of Octavia, replacing the previous senate-style government. Cyrinnius makes the PC’s an offer: locate a special artifact and turn it over to him, and he will set them free. Otherwise they hang at dawn. After Cyrinnius departs, a pirate captain in the next cell makes them a counter-offer. If they will help him recover his ship from the Imperial troops, he will help them recover the artifact and keep it away from Cyrinnius. The PC’s accept the Captain’s offer, and embark on a whirlwind adventure that takes them across the high seas, onto a jungle prison island, beneath the ocean in a forbidden temple, and aloft on a dragon. After a final quest through a mountain temple, the crew gains access to an airship and pursues Cyrinnius, leading to an all-out melee in the clouds, resulting in Cyrinnius’ death and the recovery of the Platinum Trident. The crew then agrees to foment rebellion within the Empire by attacking Imperial vessels and looting them blind.

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
